▪Assisted students with registration, issued refunds, answered questions, directed department calls
▪Utilized ABC Sign-Up software to set up registration for all classes on department website each semester
▪Collected and processed department income and initiated payment of department bills including faculty payroll
▪Compiled monthly and yearly attendance reports, registration reports, and any other data requested
▪Maintained an accurate schedule of events in 7 studio spaces and coordinated with other departments requesting use

Administrator, Eldon, IA                                                                     August 2010-Present
American Gothic House Center  
Primary duties include coordination of education, art/design, marketing and communications, volunteer relations, and building and grounds, as well as performing administrative tasks and the duties of gift shop manager and registrar/curator.
▪Applied for and received grants from the Wapello County Foundation, the Iowa Cultural Trust, Alliant Energy, and the Central Iowa Tourism Region
▪Coordinated and hosted lectures, children’s events, and fundraisers
▪Managed a group of approximately 30 regular volunteers
▪Re-organized the collection by photographing and documenting in  Past Perfect
▪Researched, designed and installed a new exhibit featuring original artwork by Nan Wood Graham and an interactive audio component using clips from an interview with Mrs. Graham

▪Supervised weekend museum operations, locking and unlocking building, and up to 3 employees at one time
▪Responsible for handling over $100 cash and reconciling cash drawer daily, using credit card processor

▪Used The Raiser’s Edge to update and add Art Center memberships, compile donor lists, and send weekly E-NEWS to over 2000 recipients and press releases to over 100 media contacts
▪Wrote the application for and received a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines
▪Assisted in coordinating and working special events such as exhibition preview parties and annual Community Day
▪Created event programs and calendars for the public, and wrote an article for the quarterly newsletter
▪Spent two afternoons a week with the installations department and was hired for the installation of Tara Donovan exhibition
